Speaking of Walls No. 1 - Chalkboard Paint

We all have memories of chalkboards. Some good and some not so good. But even if they weren't good, I bet you never forgot that rule some of you had to write fifty times as punishment. You know rules about...not pulling Molly's hair or not throwing spitballs in class or not running in the school hallway.

Well there's just something about a chalkboard that stirs the creativeness inside us at any age. Where art comes alive, or where our grocery list seems like fun again, or where we write sweet nothings to our family.

And how fun is a chalkboard wall?  Make it any size and shape you want by painting your wall with chalkboard paint. And you can even make it magnetic with Rust-oleum Magnetic Latex Primer. Well clap those erasers together and hand me some chalk and magnets!

What a great mudroom entrance. Ciao! (Italian for Hello.)

Love, love this! What a great way to journal your way through your wine bucket list!

Loving the chalkboard-painted pantry door!

And here are some ideas on how you can use up the left over chalkboard paint after you've painted your wall space.
